In line with the city's aim to be China's best tourism cities, the Chengdu Tourism Bureau lately disclosed that it would readjust tourism resources and set up the Chengdu tourism development company which will do survey in the tourism sector and map out tourism development guidelines. As a move to push forward international development of local tourism, the city plans to try out new management modes of tourism resources and the stipulation of relevant government preferential policies concerning tourism development is underway.
