Qinghai yushu ethical derby is the most important and the biggest pageant in Qinghai province. It is hold from every 25th，July to 1st ，August on the Jiegu grassland in Yushu autonomous region. In the pageant, the local minority people will wear their ethical finery and take part in horse race, yak race, rassle in tibetan style, equestrian, toxophily, shooting, ethical music and dance performance, ethical finery show and some other ethical activity. The tourists are welcome to join them and we wish you have a good time in the pagent.

Drive to Qinghai Lake (Kokonor Lake) for visiting, and visit Ta'er Monastery (Kumbum monastery) on the road, overnight in Zhangfang hotel in Qinghai Lake.(B/L/D)

23^rd,July Qinghai Lake/Maduo(360km)

After breakfast, drive through the ancient Tibet Warfield in Tang Dynasty,have a sightseeing of grassland and have a far view of Animaqin Snow momtain.Drive to Maduo county. Overnight in Maduo hostel. (B/L/D)

25st,July Yushu horse race festival

Enjoy the Opening Ceremony of the Festival in the morning, and enjoy the  dance and singing in color clothes in the afternoon, overnight in Yushu.(B/L/D, ready-wood for the lunch) Overnight in tent
