The Immortal Peak Temple was originally built in 1382 and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty after a fire destroyed it during the Ming Dynasty. In the temple are the Laughing Buddha Hall, the Great Hero Hall, the Buddhist Relics Hall, etc. The first hall, being the Laughing Buddha hall, houses statues of the Laughing Buddha and the Weituo Buddha. The second hall, the Great Hero Hall, is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to Sakyamuni with Ananda and Kasyapa on both sides, and 18 arhats along the both sides of the hall.

The second part is dedicated to Amitabha with the Goddess of Mercy, the god of Wisdom & the Guardian of Earth on his left and the god of Universal Benevolence, the Moonlight god & the Sunlight god on his right. The third hall, being the Buddhist Relics Hall, houses a 7-storied bronze dagoba measuring 3.4 meters and covered within a glass box. Turning left at the entrance gate of the temple, tourists can find the Nine Sages Cave dedicated to the statue of Zhao Gongming, the god of Wealth.
